So my ‘first cousin once removed’ (who is in his mid 20s) sent us an invitation to his wedding. However it isn’t actually an invitation. It is rather a “we are getting married and you are not invited but please send us a present.” Seriously, as if that is a perfectly normal thing to do. It makes me tempted to send them a large, really nicely wrapped box with a small piece of paper inside saying “this is not a present” or “contents - all the fuck I give about your wedding”. Better yet, I should send them back the invitation as if I didn’t read it properly with my RSVP saying “Nathan + 10”, accompanied by a big long note about how me and all my girlfriends are really excited to attend. Any other ideas?
